Blind woman killed, her ornaments robbed in Ambedkarnagar

In a sensational broad daylight incident in Ambedkarnagar, a blind woman was killed and her ornaments were looted on Tuesday, while in Agra, a woman was found murdered in mysterious circumstances.
In Ambedkarnagar, Ramlali (50), wife of Hariprasad Jaiswal, was said to be sitting at her shop in Langadi Hafizpur village on Ramnagar-Baskhari Road when some motorcycle-borne miscreants reached her shop on Tuesday morning. The woman was said to be blind and her husband was not present when the youths reached the shop.
The miscreants brutally stabbed Ramlali to death and also robbed her ornaments and escaped.
A case was registered in this regard against unknown persons and efforts were on to identify the miscreants.
In Agra, a woman was found murdered on Tuesday morning.
Rakesh, a resident of Rudhmuli locality of Bah in Agra, claimed that all his family members had gone to fields on Monday night as they were getting a bore pump installed there. He said that in the wee hours, his wife Mithilesh (55) returned home with other family members. He said that Mithilesh slept outside.
On Tuesday morning, when the sitting gram pradhan reached his home to seek vote, he was shocked to see Mithilesh lying in a pool of blood. The assailants had brutally hacked her to death with an axe.
The local police registered a case against unknown persons and sent the body for post-mortem.
Meanwhile, two little girls fell victim to sexual abuse at separate places and one of them was killed.
In Mathura, an 11-year-old girl living in Jamunapar area went to purchase cold drinks from a local shop owned by one Mukesh last Sunday afternoon.
SP (City) Martand Prakash Singh said the shop owner asked the girl to come inside and take the soft drink. However, as she went inside, he and three of his friends present there gang-raped the girl.
The victim later reached home and revealed her trauma to the family members and they reported the incident on Monday after which the police raided the place and arrested Mukesh along with Manoj and Omveer. Efforts are on to nab the remaining accused.
The victim was sent for medical examination and a case under POCSO Act was registered against the accused.
In Budaun, a 5-year-old girl was allegedly raped and killed. The incident occurred in the Civil Lines police station area on Sunday night when the girl went to the fields with her family to collect wheat, local police claimed.
The accused, who was hiding in the field, raped the girl and then killed her when she tried to scream, the police added.
The accused, in his mid-twenties, is a resident of Uttarakhand's Udham Singh Nagar district. His family had brought him to a religious place here for some treatment but he ran away, according to the police.
Meanwhile, on realising that the girl was missing, her family started looking for her. During their search, they stumbled upon the youth along with the girl's body following which they thrashed him, the police said.
After that police reached the spot and arrested the youth, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sankalp Sharma said, adding that the body was sent for post-mortem and the matter was being probed.
