Training was provided to 28 BNYS medical students and after training them on May 17, 2021 each student was allotted 15-15 patients those were isolated in different cities of the State through “Sarthak app”.
Every patient was taught yoga through video calling in the morning and evening for three days and by doing yoga by the patients, encouraging results are being reflected in their immunity, it has been told by the patients themselves.
Anuj Agarwal, a third year student said he was told by Nitin Patel that if they practiced yoga every day then we will get well soon. The same feeling was expressed by another patient Khushi Deewal that if they keep it up then they will all be fine and healthy very soon.
These all students are studying in BNYS (Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences) course. In this curriculum they study all the subjects of the medical sciences in detail and taught the importance of and benefits of yoga in various diseases.
It has also been told by the students associated with this program that by connecting them and helping the victims they felt very good that they can somehow serve these patients and become helpful in providing health benefits to the general public of the State.
