Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited (DCBL) is all ready to execute its set up of expansion unit in Bokaro. A meeting chaired by Superintendent of Police Chandan Jha in Bokaro Collectorate was held with the ryyats regarding the expansion of Dalmia Cement factory.
In the meeting, the dispute of the villagers regarding the expansion of the cement plant was discussed. In this regard, the company management informed that the plant is to be expanded on 15.7 acres of land. Also Company representatives added that the expansion of the factory will increase employment opportunities at local levels. The ryyats are putting hurdles in the work being done by the company is not good for the development of all. On this, other senior officials including the SP inquired their side from the ryyats and assured that there would be no discrimination of any kind. The administration will extend all possible cooperation in meeting all the genuine demands of the ryyats.
After deliberations in the meeting, it was also agreed to pay compensation to the concerned ryyats with mutual understanding. On the occasion, SP, SDO and other officials appealed to the ryyats to cooperate in maintaining law and order. Also officials of Dalmia cement were present during the meeting
During this meeting Regional Director JIADA Kriti Shree, Additional Collector Sadat Anwar, Sub-Divisional Officer Chas Dilip Pratap Singh Shekhawat, District Public Relations Officer Rahul Kumar Bharti and others were present.
