The joint secretary in BSF New Delhi and financial advisor of the organisation Sanjay Uprati visited the Border Security Force Training Center and School at Meru, 5 kilometer from Hazaribag headquarters. He was welcomed by the commandant cum IG Ravi Gandhi in the campus.
In the conference hall of the camp the financial advisor discussed with the officers about the progress of ongoing projects in the camp. After the long discussion he also visited the ongoing projects – club activity, faculty exchange programme and infrastructure development.
He said that the BSF headquarter has also shown interest to provide more projects to the center in Jharkhand, so jawans can engage in training with latest equipment.
He appreciated the progress of the camp activities.
Urmila Uprate, spouse of the financial advisor also visited the camp with the president of BAWA and inspected the progress in welfare work going on by the welfare association in the campus. She participated in a meditation programme and planted saplings in the campus of Ankur Playschool. She also appreciated the welfare work done during the Covid-19 pandemic.
