In a prestigious ceremony Led by Executive Director (Works) Atanu Bhowmik, Bokaro Steel Plant’s Environment Control Deptt (ECD) comprising GM (ECD) NP Srivastava and AGM (ECD) Nitesh Ranjan presented the prestigious Greentech Environment & Sustainability Award 2021 won by BSL in the “Eco Friendly Products” category to Director Incharge BSL Amarendu Prakash. Executive Director (MM) VK Pandey, Executive Director (P&A) Samir Swarup, CGM Inc (F&A) Suresh Rangani, Chief General Managers and other senior officers of BSL were also present on this occasion.

Greentech Environment & Sustainability Awards is presented in recognition of responsible, innovative practices and initiatives towards achieving sustainable goals. The award was presented to BSL during the “21st Annual Greentech Environment Summit” on 26th November at Mahabalipuramon. Chief General Manager (COBPP) Rakesh Kumar and NP Srivastava received the award at Mahabalipuram on behalf of BSL. It is noteworthy to mention here that under the leadership of Director-Incharge Amrendu Prakash, BSL has taken the drive for conversion of Waste to Wealth and have earned revenue of more than Rs 1000 Crores in last few years by proper waste utilization and its use as input material inside plant and in other industries.  NP Srivastava also received the Greentech Environment Leader Award on 26th Nov’21 at Mahabalipuram in the individual category for his contribution in the field of Environment Conservation. Director Incharge congratulated team BSL on this achievement and reiterated Bokaro Steel’s commitment towards sustainable development & environment conservation.
