Committed to make every month a better month in every dimension of execution, the Bokaro Steel Plant is setting new records in the field of production with the collective efforts of its personnel, which continues in the month of January. In this series of records, the team of Blast Furnace has created a new daily production record by producing the highest ever 14872 tonnes of hot metal on January 12 from the operation of four furnaces. Earlier, the daily hot metal production record of Bokaro Steel Plant was recorded at 14779 tonnes on 28 January-2018.
The team of Bokaro Steel Plant under the leadership of Director-in-charge Amarendu Prakash and Executive Director (Works) Atanu Bhowmick are committed to continuously improve their performance levels and are looking to take the plant to new heights.
It is worth mentioning that in the last month too, many new records were made in BSL in the production of Hot Metal, HR Coil, CR Sable (Dispatch), Cast Slab, etc. and improved in Techno Economic Parameters.The BSL director in-charge has congratulated all the officers and personnel of the blast furnace on this achievement.
