On the instruction of Indore collector Manish Singh to curb the adulterated diesel in the district, the Indore food department raided the bulk consumer diesel pump M/S Chartered Speed located at Lasudia Mori Indore and sealed the pump including the 2 underground tanks and 4 tankers.

The food department team under the guidance of district food controller Meena Malakar raided the pump on a tip including the assistant supply officer Pramod Gupta, JSOs Dilip Manware, Avinash Jain, Ankur Gupta,Soni Dinkar, Rahul Sharma and surveyed the M/S Chartered Speed Bulk Consumer Diesel Pump.

The team in the primary investigation found the adulterated diesel which they sent to laboratory for further sampling, and the process is on to register the case in section of essential commodities act 1955.

It is to be noted that the M/S chartered Speed is filling hundreds of its buses as it is also a bus operator attached to Indore municipal corporation AICTSL and they daily ply hundreds of buses to Bhopal and different cities of Madhya Pradesh and other States from Indore and also in Indore city area.

Thousand liters of diesel which was consumed by these buses are filled by the M/S Chartered Speed bulk consumer diesel pump. Roshan Agarwal is the owner of the M/S chartered speed bulk consumer diesel pump.

The thousand liters of adulterated diesel has also caused a huge loss of taxes to the Government daily. Indore locals are also raising question when the operator M/S Chartered Speed was using the adulterated chemical diesel as to why the AICTSL administration Indore didn't checked the fuel quality and pollution standard of the buses and kept a blind eye on the mixed adulterated diesel used by the operator.

CEO of the AICTSL Indore Sandeep Soni didn't pick up the phone for his comment to The Pioneer.According to the technical experts the adulterated diesel mixed with different chemicals not only polluted the environment but also risk the life of hundreds of passengers travelling in the buses as any type of chemical reaction in the diesel tank of the bus could have caused untoward incident like explosion or catching fire.

ADM Indore Abhay Bedekar told The Pioneer that the adulteration is found in the diesel and the case is being registered against the Roshan Agrawal the owner of the pump.
