Cabinet nod to construction of 11 Ministerial bungalows

State Government Ministers will get better and bigger accommodations to live in as the State Cabinet today gave its nod to construction of 11 bungalows at Ranchi Smart City coming up at HEC township area.

State Cabinet Coordination department Secretary, Vandana Dadel said, “The State Cabinet today gave its nod to construction of eleven bungalows at Smart City area. The cabinet approved Rs 69.91 crore for the purpose.” The state of the art bungalows will be constructed at the cost of Rs 6.6 crore each.

Sources said that the front side of each bungalow is placed in the east and most of the part in the northeast direction. The construction of bathroom, kitchen, office, waiting room and bedroom has been designed keeping in mind the vastu. The bungalows will be of two floors. On the ground floor there will be two bed rooms, a waiting room, a meeting room, two toilets, pantry room, guard room, dining cum conference hall. Each bungalow will have five bedrooms with balconies. There will be a total of three bedrooms including the master bedroom on the first floor.

A total of 17 proposals were approved in the meeting. Approval was given to the proposal to amend the Surrender and Rehabilitation Policy of Naxalites. Under this, the person who surrenders will be kept in open jail.

In the meeting, approval was given to sanction one post in the Jharkhand Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission. Approval was given for HalfWay Home in East Singhbhum and Dhanbad Ranchi. It will have a capacity of 30 people. Approval was given for the revised arrangement of expenditure of central schemes. Rs 52 crore has been sanctioned for installation of CCTVs in 20 district courts on the directions of the Supreme Court. In the meeting, the amount for the establishment of the World Trade Center was approved. The stadium will be built in Keero and Margo Munda block of Deoghar.

The proposal for amendment in the Jharkhand Secretariat Service Manual was approved. The company working in the City IMS project was given an extension of tenure. The government has set a target of 8 lakh metric tonnes of paddy and has approved the proposal to increase the MSP amount to Rs 2000. As per Cabinet decision farmers can register for selling their paddy from November, while till December the scrutiny of applications will be made.
