The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has on Saturday arrested a Deputy Director (Admn.), AIIMS, Bhopal for demanding and accepting bribe of Rs 1 Lakh from the Complainant.
The CBI has registered a case against the said Dy. Director (Admn.), All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhopal on a complaint. It was alleged in the complaint that the Deputy Director(Admn.), AIIMS, Bhopal demanded a bribe of Rs 2,00,000 from the complainant for releasing payment of his pending bills on account of supplies of medicines and other consumables made to AIIMS, Bhopal.
CBI laid a trap and caught the accused red-handed while demanding & accepting bribe Rs One lakh from the complainant. Searches are being conducted today at the premises of accused including at Bhopal. The arrested accused will be produced tomorrow before the Designated Court, Bhopal.
