CBI arrests bank manager

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested Branch Manager, Central Bank of India, Silondi Branch, District Katni (Madhya Pradesh) for demanding and accepting bribe of Rs 10,000 from the complainant.

A case was registered on complaint against the accused. It was alleged that the Branch Manager had demanded bribe for processing the application of the complainant for starting KIOSK at village Kachargaon (MP).

CBI laid a trap and caught the Branch Manager red handed while demanding and accepting bribe amount of Rs 10,000. Searches were conducted at the office & residential premises of the accused which led to recovery of documents.
