Chaurasia sisters perform at 5-day online cultural prog

The Chaurasia sisters from Indore gave a scintillating performance at Swaranhali, the five day Virtual Cultural Programme.

Abha and Vibha Chaurasia performed in Swaranjali organised by Swaranjali Delhi in association with Dhruv Bose Foundation in the memory of Late Shri Dhruv Bose .

 Abha and Vibha Chaurasia from Indore performed on the occasion of World Music Day.

They perfromed in Raag Poorniya Kalyan,the composition in madhya laya teentaal More ghar aa jaa.

The duo was accompanied on tabla  by Shubham Vyam. The Shraddhanjali Festival is dedicated to all our Gurus, Performers, Artists, Art Critics and Art Lovers whom we lost during this Corona Pandemic time. Artists around the world will contribute their performance for this festival along with a few video messages from our great Maestros, Gurus and others.

“This Covid -19 virus has had irreplaceable damage across the world in every respect of life. In the music industry we have had a huge impact .We lost stalwarts like Pt Jasraj, SP Bala Subramaniam, Pt Rajan Mishra, Saroj Khan, Sajid Ali, Pt Debu Choudhry and many more. Their contribution in the Music, Dance, and Fine Arts field will be remembered throughout," said Sitarist Shubrata De, Founder of Swaranjali.
