The condition of 45 children and 5 employees in a child care home in Mana in the outskirts of Chhattisgarh’s capital who tested positive for Corona is normal after treatment, the government said on Monday.
The District Programme Officer of Women and Child Development Department here said there are 73 children in the child care home whose rapid antigen and RTPCR tests were done on April 29.
After 45 children and 5 staffers tested Covid-19 positive, immediate treatment was started, a press release said.
Medicines were made available to all infected children and staffers through the Chief Municipal Officer of Mana Nagar Panchayat. A doctor and six nurses were deployed for their treatment.
The condition of the children is said to be normal, the release said.
