Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will participate in the “Dengue se Jung-Janta Ke Sang” (war against dengue - with the people) campaign in Bhopal from 10 am to 10:30 am on September 15. During this period, the work of destroying larvae will be done in every city and village under the joint campaign of the government and community in the entire state.

Cleanliness campaign will be carried out by draining the water stored in coolers, water tanks and nearby pits in homes. Public Health and Family Welfare Department, Rural Development, bodies of Urban Development Department like Nagar Panchayat, Municipality, Municipal Corporation etc. and Medical Education Department will work together for prevention and control of dengue. Fogging will also be done at necessary places. Action will be taken to impose fine on those guilty of unnecessary water logging.

Chouhan said that isolation wards of ten beds each are being made in all district hospitals for the treatment of dengue. Provision has also been made for free treatment of dengue and chikungunya disease in Ayushman Yojana.

"Dengue se Jung-Janta Ke Sang"The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has said that the need for “Dengu Se Jung-Janta Ke Sang” campaign on 15th September was necessitated because dengue cases have been reported in some districts of the state.

Government employees will do their job. Along with this, the common people should also come forward for this, only then the campaign will be successful. Under the campaign, the work of fogging, destroying larvae, sanitation work and putting medicines where there is water logging will be done by the government staff. Chouhan has appealed to the citizens that if it has been at least seven days in their house that water has been filled, then do not allow such water to stagnate. In any water tank, pot, pit and in the cooler, if there is any water filled for a long time, then immediately empty that water. Medicines can be put in pits etc. to kill larvae.

Cleanliness is essential. Chief Minister Chouhan has appealed to the public to clean their houses if necessary. Pour out the filled water. If necessary, add medicine to the stagnant water to kill the larvae.
