The Central Industrial Security Force, Kharavel Regional Training Centre (CISF-KRTC) based at Mundali in Cuttack held a plantation drive in and around the campus on Sunday.
The CISF-KRTC in association with the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Sangathan at Mundali also conducted a mass tree plantation programme in the school premises. Both the programmes were organised under the leadership of DIG Santhi G Jaidev and JNV Principal Ram Raj Singh. Among others, CISF officers, Jawans, family members of CISF personnel, teachers and student of the school participated.
A total of 300 fruitbearing trees were planted. A similar plantation was also carried out at the Mundali High School and ME School premises and 500 saplings were planted by CISF officers, Jawans and school staffs.
