As part of discussions on the budget preparation on the third day,
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Sunday had pre-budget discussions with school education, urban administration, labour, law and legal affairs, transport, housing and environment departments.
Baghel who also holds finance portfolio discussed in details about the budget provisions for School Education, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Community Welfare and Co-operative department. During the discussion, minister Dr Premsai Singh Tekam and departmental officials were present, said an official communication.
Later, he met urban administration and development, labour minister Dr Shiv Kumar Dahariya and officials.
The Chief Minister then chaired a meeting with Law and legal affairs, transport, housing and environment, forest and climate change department minister Mohammed Akbar with officials to assess the budget requirement.
Subrat Sahoo, Chief Secretary In-charge, Finance Secretary Alarmelmangai D, General Administration Department Secretary Dr Kamalpreet Singh and other officials were present.
