Whether it is the issue of pay discrepancy, delay in promotion or any other problem related to the government employees, they will be resolved without any delay as Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed that one day of the week will be reserved for redressal of such issues in government departments.
“In every office, high officials should take cognisance of the problems and complaints of employees for one hour a day in a week. Reserve the last one hour of the office hours of the day to resolve these issues,” Yogi said in a high-level meeting held at Lok Bhawan on Tuesday.
The chief minister said there were many complaints of employees which could be resolved by taking little cognisance at the local level. He said “due to the busyness of day-to-day work, it was often ignored due to which the matter remains pending. In such a situation, it is necessary to fix an hour's time on one day of a week to listen to the problems of the government employees”. He said the complaints should be disposed of in a time bound manner.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed that if any employee working in any department under the state government dies of COVID-19 infection, the department should cooperate with the family concerned with full sensitivity and sympathy.
