Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday met the chairman of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Dr DS Rana, at his residence, where he inquired about the health of the 37 doctors appointed at the hospital who have tested positive for Corona.
Rajendra Nagar MLA Raghav Chaddha was also present in the meeting.
Kejriwal said, "Our doctors have been at the forefront of fighting Coronavirus. I pray for a swift recovery of all the doctors who have tested positive. The hospital can reach out to the Delhi government at any point, if and when required, and we will provide them with all the help possible."
During the meeting, the CM was apprised that out of the 37 doctors who tested positive, most of them are asymptomatic and have been recommended home isolation. 4-5 doctors, who have observed serious symptoms, have been admitted to the hospitals and are taken care of.
He expressed serious concerns over the spike in Corona positive cases in the last few days. Delhi has been observing a spike in the number of Corona positive cases, with 7,437 people testing positive against 91770 tests being conducted on Thursday.
