CM launches mobile App to monitor proposed industrial units

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Monday launched a Mobile Application to monitor the proposed major industrial projects.

Industry and Commerce (Excise) Minister Kawasi Lakhma was present at the event in the Assembly premises.

The mobile application has been developed by the Industries and Commerce department. It is available on Android and Apple play store.

It will facilitate the industrialists to share all necessary documents and phases of completion of units, an official communication said.

A senior officer of each proposed unit will interact with officials of the concerned department to clear issues, it said.

For an investment of `42,500 crores in the state, MoUs have been signed to establish industrial units. Sixteen units are proposed in the most backward regions of Bastar division. The construction work of 40 industrial units have begun.
