CM prays for peace, prosperity in state

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday offered prayers at Mata Mahamaya Devi Temple in Ratanpur (Bilaspur), Kauhi and Agarsara (at Patan and Durg) to mark Ashtami day of Navratri festival.

He wished for peace, happiness and prosperity for the people of the state. He also greeted people on the occasion of Navratri, an official communication said.

During his visit to Kauhi and Agarsara, Baghel said the people of Chhattisgarh are fortunate as the state is an abode of goddesses.

He said on November 1 the next instalment of Rajiv Gandhi Nyay Yojana will be released for farmers.
