District Congress president Brajendra Prasad Singh has condemned the decision of the union government to shift the administrative office of SBi from Dhanbad to Deoghar.
In a statement Singh said, its stepmotherly treatment with the economic capital of Jharkhand.
“We have important institutions like CIMFR, divisional railway headquarters, IIT, BCCL, DVC , SAIL and other institutions of government besides hundreds of hard coke plants and other industries in Dhanbad and neighbouring Bokaro but by shifting the office government has ignored Importance of coal capital,” he said.
Singh demanded rollback of the decision in larger interest of business houses.
