Cong questions Modi’s claims on development

Sunday, 05 December 2021 | PNS | Dehradun

The Uttarakhand Congress has questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s claims of development of Uttarakhand. In a statement the spokesperson of state Congress Garima Dasauni said the fact is that the BJP Government has pushed the State 10 years back on the path of development.

She said no leader of the BJP is in position to answer as to why it was forced to change two Chief Ministers despite enjoying an overwhelming mandate in the State Assembly.

Dasauni also objected to the presence of Governor, Lieutenant General (retd) Gurmit Singh in the PM’s rally and said the person sitting on constitutional posts should not share stage with leaders in a political rally.

Dasauni said the BJP which was making tall claims that more than one lakh people will attend the rally of PM Modi could not muster 25,000 people in spite of throwing all its might in the rally.
