The process for recruitment to 244 Constable (Communication) posts by the Odisha Police has been postponed, an official advertisement said on Tuesday. On the other hand, an online application portal for recruitment of 477 posts of SI of Police became live on the day and the mega recruitment drive would continue.The candidates who are willing to apply for aforesaid posts would be able to apply through online mode at odishapolice.gov.in from June 22. The speciality about this recruitment drive is that board is going to recruit transgenders first time to boost their confidence. The board released notification on June 14 for engagement to post of Sub-Inspector and Constable in General Duty and Communication Category.
