The contact tracing of 52,649 corona affected patients was carried out in Raipur district in April. Also, 43,887 cit-izens and high risk asymptomatic 1.79 lakh citizens who came in contact with these patients were traced.Raipur Additional Collector Padmini Bhoi said in a statement on Monday that contact tracing is done in three shifts,for which 285 officers and employees have been deployed. Besides, 220 officers in the field are carrying out the tracing work.She said that based on the information compiled by the team, the corona sampling team reaches the home of theprospective people and conducts their corona test.
