It is often stated that if you want to transform society, focus on education. With the world shifting towards digitization, various industries have undergone tremendous changes. Now, most offices and industries are digitally functional. The COVID-19 pandemic forced us to embrace technology at a faster pace.  The same has impacted the education sector. Educational institutions are now operating online, and all of the teaching tasks have been shifted to the online mode. However, this sudden shift is creating problems in terms of fees payments, revenue, admissions tracking and announcements, etc. and keeping a track of these details isn’t easy.

Shiv Vadivelalagan and Pavee Ramanisankar had introduced a solution to this problem way back in 2018. This husband-wife duo had launched Anthem, a fintech SaaS tool to help boost the income and revenue of schools.  Anthem is a SaaS AI tool aimed at improving and enhancing the back-end task management of educational institutions. It allows institutions to manage the payment of the fee, expenses, cash flow, profit, admission details, inquiries, etc. all on one platform. This reduces the dependence of educational institutions on Excel sheets.

Shiv Vadivelalagan is a Stanford University graduate and Pavee Ramanisankar has done her masters from Harvard University. The couple moved back to India in 2018 to focus on their startup. Anthem is a product of this duo’s efforts to solve the finance and admin problems of Indian educational institutions.

The major back-end issues faced by schools are- Delayed fee collection, Lack of control over expenses/ purchases, No proper student records and Data loss. These problems have one simple solution, i.e. Anthem. Finance directly impacts an organization or institution. So, one needs to keep a track of where all the money is going and on revenue generation.
