The country is moving towards becoming the world leader once again, said Madhya Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel at the 24th Convocation ceremony held at Vikram University.

She said that more than 100 courses of various study schools, electronics, forensics, food technology, harticulture and fisheries are being started from the upcoming session and establishment of Indian Center for Knowledge Science, Education and Research at Vikram University.  It is hoped that these new efforts will achieve significant achievements in the history of the university by supporting the development of the region, state and nation, said Governor. Anandiben Patel.

In the convocation ceremony, the Ph.D. degree of the year 2018-19, the degree of graduation year 2018-19 and the postgraduate year 2018-19 degree and medals were distributed to 325 students by the Governor Patel.

Speaking on the occasion of the convocation, Higher Education Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said National Education Policy 2020 is the first education policy of the 21st century, which aims to meet the essential requirements for the development of our country. Higher education department of Madhya Pradesh government is playing its role in the implementation of this policy with full devotion and concentration.

In the convocation ceremony, Chairman of the University Grants Commission Prof. D.P. Singh said that young people establish a special identity of the nation in the world with their contribution as ruler, administrator, teacher, scientist, musician, litterateur, doctor, engineer and artist.

At the commencement of the convocation ceremony, Vice Chancellor of Vikram University Professor Akhilesh Kumar Pandey said that from the year of establishment to the present, the university is constantly moving towards achieving its objective.
