The state health department reported only six new cases of the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) and 10 recoveries from the disease in Uttarakhand on Wednesday. No death from the disease was reported in the state on the day.
The cumulative count of Covid-19 patients in the state is now at 3,43,701 while a total of 33,0032 patients have recovered from the disease so far. In the state, 7397 people have lost their lives to Covid -19 virus till date. The recovery percentage from the disease is at 96.02 per cent while the sample positivity rate on Wednesday was 0.04 per cent.
The state health department reported three new patients from Dehradun, two from Nainital and one from Pauri on Wednesday. No new case of Covid-19 was reported from the remaining 10 districts on the day.
The state now has 153 active cases of Covid-19. Dehradun with 98 cases is at the top of the table of active cases while Tehri and Champawat have no active cases of the disease now.
In the ongoing vaccination drive 21,840 people were vaccinated in 761 sessions in the state held on Wednesday.
