Cyber crime cell busts inter-state gang

Cyber crime cell  busted an inter-state gang arrested three members who were  involved in fraudulently changing ATM card and withdrawing money from bank account, 61 ATM cards were recovered from their possesion.

Police said that the accused mostly used to make old people and women, victims. The accused used to stay in  districts on their way to Bhopal from Rajasthan Dholpur and commit the crime.

The accused have trapped around 500 people in the form of a gang for 3 years. They would use blocked ATMs stand outside the machine and wait for the people to be trapped.

The stolen ATMs were bought from pick pockets. Using fraudulently obtained ATM and PIN, used accused uses to buy goods or withdraw cash. The accused have commited fraud in Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.

The main accused Tahir used to arrange old ATM cards for cheating, for this, the accused buy old cards related to each bank from  pickpockets and go to different states by his motor cycle and check every ATM on the way, stand outside the closed ATM machine and wait for the arrival of the customer and wait for the arrival of the old man or woman who were targets.

So far in Bhopal, the accused have cheated about 50-60 people for three years. Police said three mobile phones, three Aadhar cards, 61 ATM cards and two motor cycles have been seized from the accused. The accused are

Tahir (22), Firoz (28) and Hanif (27)  of Dholpur in Rajasthan.
