Joy of Giving Week, Daan Utsav, organized in State Bank of India Bhopal Circle from October 02 to 08, 2021 ended on Friday. On this occasion, many programs were organized in Bhopal Circle (Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh) with the participation of staff in the branches and offices of SBI.
On the occasion of the conclusion of the week, Chief General Manager Umesh Kumar Pandey informed that during this period the bank staff carried out a comprehensive cleanliness drive on Gandhi Jayanti, distributed nutritious food to the elderly in old age homes and collected new/old clothes, study material, useful electronics gadgets and toys for distribution among the needy sections of the society. Blood donation camp was also organized during the week in which a large number of staff members donated blood.
The Daan Utsav ended with the distribution of material given by the bank staff to the needy people. On this occasion, Chief General Manager Umesh Kumar Pandey felicitated the bank staff for discharging their social duties with great enthusiasm. General Manager S. Giridhar, Sundeep Kumar Dutta and Geeta Tripathi, Deputy General Managers of Local Head Office Bhopal and all the Zonal Offices of Bhopal Circle, senior officials and staff participated in these week-long activities at various places.
