Gwalior- Chambal Divisional Commissioner Ashish Saxena has asked officials to ensure the supply of adequate seeds and fertilizer for the farmers in the division. The DC gave this instruction during a Google Meet today. All the collectors, SPs, ADMs and departmental heads of both divisions attended the meet.
With the Rabi season set to begin soon, the Divisional Commissioner asked the officials to extend full cooperation to farmers.
He instructed that senior officials must monitor the distribution of seeds, pesticides and fertilizer so as to ensure smooth and proper supply. He further directed them to prepare a database of the farmers so that government sponsored benefits can be given to them.
During the meeting the DC also reviewed the law and order situation in the two divisions and asked the concerned police officials to increase the number of police beats in the rural areas.
He also told them to have regular camps so that petty matters can be settled without delay and without inconveniences to the public.
On the vaccination front, the DC instructed officials to ensure that every eligible person is vaccinated. He gave emphasis on the second dose and asked them to ensure that the second dose is given within the stipulated period.
