Delhi’s positivity rate dips to below 1 per cent

The positivity rate in the national Capital fell below one per cent on Monday, the first time since March 19. Delhi also reported 648 new Covid-19 cases and 86 fatalities, according to the health bulletin released by the Government.

Approximately 1,622 people have either recovered, migrated out or have been discharged, according to the health bulletin, while there are 11,040 active cases and 5,374 of them are in home isolation. According to bulletin, the number of cumulative cases stands at 14,26,240 and the death toll at 24,237.

With the positivity rate below one per cent, thousands of beds in various hospitals are vacant now. Of the 24,852 hospital beds for coronavirus patients in the city, 20,068 are vacant.

The national Capital conducted 65,240 tests, including 50,003 RTPCR/CBNAAT/True Nat tests.
