Director General of Police (DGP) Abhay on Saturday reviewed Covid enforcement measures like implementation of lockdown and weekend shutdown, functioning of border check-posts and preparedness to ramp up police assistance to tackle Covid-19 at the office of DIG (SR) with DIG, SP Brahamapur and SP Ganjam.
Abhaya along with ADG (L&O) Yashwant Jethwa also visited Golanthara and Gosaninuagaon police stations in Brahampaur police districts besides Ganjam and Chamakhandi police stations in Ganjam police district and reviewed enforcement measurers and other operationsl matters.He interacted with police personnel and enquired about their wellbeing. The DGP accompanied by ADG (LO), DIG (SR) and SP Brahmapur also visited the Girisola check-gate and reviewed the border sealing arrangements. He asked the Brahmapur police to ensure effective enforcement with empathy.
