Chhattisgarh Health Minister T.S. Singh Deo on Sunday said doctors played a key role in battling the second wave of Covid-19 and their service and dedication prevented the pandemic from taking alarming proportions.
Singh Deo was addressing a felicitation programme organised by the Indian Dental Association to felicitate doctors for their role during the pandemic.
Early diagnosis and proper treatment helped to curb the spread of the virus, he said. In the process, thousands of lives were saved.
