Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Monday appealed to the people not to lower their guard against Covid-19 by ignoring the medical precautions during relaxation in lockdown.

People must wear a mask, keep physical distance and regularly wash hands or use sanitizer, he said in a statement. With much difficulty, the second Covid wave have been controlled. The second wave has caused major financial losses while many have lost their near and dear ones, he said..

Based on the success, the government decided to relax the lockdown to facilitate the citizens. But the peoples have to follow the Covid appropriate behaviour, he pointed out.

He also urged people to vaccinate themselves. Those who have taken the first dose must go for the second.
