A doorstep-Covid-19 vaccination drive for elderly persons was launched by the Rourkela Municipal Corporation (RMC) on Monday. The service is being provided only to the elderly persons who are bedridden and differently-abled persons in the city.Such citizens need to dial 06612510036 between 10 am and 4 pm for registration, informed the Rourkela ADM.
The requirement shall be verified by doctors whilethe service would be provided as per schedule and division of area, official added. Sanjeevani Rath vehicles are being used for doorstep Covid-19 vaccinatio.Notably, Berhampur Municipal Corporation has also launched a ‘Vaccination at Doorstep’ initiative to administer Covid vaccines to elderly persons who are above 70 years of age and those who are not able to walk or are bedridden.
