DSBM holds meet on changing biz dynamics

An insightful and analytical webinar based on a contemporary theme "Changing Dynamics of Businesses and Sustainability during Covid-19 Pandemic” was organised by the DAV School of Business Management (DSBM) here on Saturday.

Prof Srijit Mishra from the Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research, Mumbai was chief guest. Prof Alok Kumar Mishra, School of Economics, University of Hyderabad, and Dr Dukhishyam Mishra, Deputy General Manager, SIDBI, Ahmedabad, were keynote speakers.

Prof Srijit Mishra discussed on the relative risk reduction scenario of the pandemic and initial impact of Covid-19 on Indian economy. He also deliberated about various solutions and strategies to cope with the present situation.

Prof Alok Mishra opined about the various structural changes like GST, demonetisation, world GDP and global financial crisis. He specifically pointed out the unemployment situation, hyperinflation and labour force in India. Dr Dukhishyam Mishra discoursed about regional imbalances and equilibrium condition created due to the pandemic.

With an objective of empowering the students to meet the expectations of the corporate sector, under the mentorship of Jayashree Swain, four students gave their presentations in the webinar. Manish Mishra and Ankita Ojha of BCom 4th semester presented on the sub-topic "Emerging Trends in Trade - An Analysis of Pre & During COVID-19” whie Geetika Patra and Sai Gayatri of

BBA 6th semester put forth their presentations on the sub-topic "Emerging Opportunities & Challenges of Trade in India”.
