Ensure public participation in cooperative movement: CM

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Friday said the state government is keen to cover maximum number of people through cooperatives.

Efforts should be made to include more common men in the cooperative movement. Several cooperative related activities are being undertaken for the benefit of farmers, he said.

Baghel was virtually addressing the charge taking ceremony of Chairman of the District Cooperative Central Bank Ltd, Bilaspur, Pramod Nayak.

Cooperative Minister Dr Premsai Singh Tekam was present at the venue.

The Chief Minister said the Cooperative Acts have been simplified to benefit more and more people.
