Getting a nod from Bokaro District Administration, ESL Steel Limited, started its Covid-19 vaccine drive for its above 18 years employees on Monday. The vaccination drive was conducted at ESL Hundru Hospital, informed Public Relation Officials of ESL.
A total of 300 ESL Steel employees participated in the vaccination drive that was held within various centres of the plant, said the official.
Speaking on the occasion, Sadhana Verma, Head HSE, ESL said, “It is satisfying to see our younger ESL employees get covered in the vaccination drive. As a caring company, we value our employees’ health and urge them to take the jab if they haven’t already. I would like to reiterate that their safety is our prime concern, now and forever.”
Earlier, ESL Steel Limited distributed face shield masks and sanitisers among 1,500 of its employees for their safety. Additionally, all safety protocols including social distancing are maintained in the plant, she said.
“We also plan to continue with our Covid-19 awareness drives for our employees,” Verma added.
