Exhibition held on Chanderi Utsav-2021 at Mrignayanee

The shopaholics of the city will explore the most enchanting work on dress materials at the Chanderi Utsav 2021. The exhibition began from Saturday at Mrignayanee.

Ot was inaugurated by IAS Anubha Shrivastava, managing director of Madhya Pradesh Handloom and Handicraft Development Corporation.

A new variety of  designs in suits that are enchanting the female buyers this festive season are available at the exhibition cum sale. These suits have been designed in different patterns and prints. There are printed materials beautifully embroidered with Batik Print, Dabu Print, Hand-Block Print and one of the most renowned and loved in all seasons, Bagh Print.

The motifs of Badal Mahal are imprinted on the cloth giving it a royal look. Chamderi artists from Chanderi including Asad Khan and Muzzafar Khan will talk about Chanderi designs.

The array of vibrant colours like green, ocean green and ocean blue along with shades of yellow, brown, sky colours and colours in contrast is captivating the attention.

Besides, along with the suit collection in handloom and traditional collection, a range of saris is also on display. There is a huge collection in Mulberry silk, crape, chiffon silk and cotton silk as well at the emporium for regular shopping.
