Farmer's son Sushil ranked 45th in UPSC ESE

Sushil Kumar Suman, son of Rameshwar Mandal, a resident of Karihari under Giridih district, has been successful in the Engineering Services Examination ESE of UPSC.  Sushil was welcomed by villagers in a road show on Wednesday.

Sushil got first position in matriculation examination from Rajdhanwar High School and after that he continued his further studies by giving tuitions due to poor financial condition of his family.  He has been successful in the examination in the third attempt.

Sushil passed out in 2013 from IIT and runs his own coaching center in Delhi, where he prepares students for the GATE examination.  He said that after passing from IIT, his job was in an American company, in which he had to join in Hyderabad, but he quit his job and started his own coaching in Delhi.  Sushil said that he had quit his job and made up his mind for UPSC Engineering Services.

On the success of his son, father Rameshwar Mandal said that Sushil has achieved success by his hard work. Pushpa Devi, his mother, said, “We have suffered so much in poverty.”
