The electricity department officials conducted raids at different urban and rural locations in Chas and lodged FIR against twelve people for stealing electric power at the local police stations and fined Rs 1.20 lakhs to the defaulters.
A team lead by Sadan Laha Assistant Electrical Engineer conducted raids at different locations at Chira Chas, Nanduasthan, Pindrajora, Balidih area.
A total of 1.20 lakh rupees have been fined on all of them who were found stealing electricity, said Laha.
