FIR registered against seven MCG officials in Gurugram

Following compliance with the instruction given by the Haryana home and urban local bodies minister Anil Vij during his surprise visit to the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) office in Gurugram on Thursday suspended two assistant engineers. He also relieved one executive engineer who was on his extension period over irregularities charges and file a case against some officials over fraud charges. The MCG has taken prompt action on the orders given by the minister and suspend the concerned officials and also recommend FIR against seven officials over alleged involvement in fraud committed by them.

In connection with the matter, a case under the relevant section of the IPC was registered on the complaint filed by the Chief Engineer of the MCG, Thakur Lal Sharma against these officials under relevant sections of the IPC at Sadar Police Station in G Following a prompt action, Dharamveer Malik, the executive engineer has been released from his services as he was on extension. Assistant Engineers Rakesh Sharma and Kuldeep Yadav who was not present at the time of the minister visit have been suspended with immediate effect and they will report their headquarters in Panchkula.
