Offline classes for First Year UG and PG students would start in degree colleges and universities across the State from November 1 and November 15, respectively.
The State Government has written to the Principals of all colleges and Vice-Chancellors of all universities in this regard.
“Classroom teaching of First Year U.G. and First Year P.G. students (freshly admitted) for the session 2021-22 will start from 01.11.2021 and 15.11.2021, respectively, in physical mode by following appropriate Covid-19 prevention protocols,” the letter read.
There must be an isolation room ready for any emergency.
Hostel facilities shall also be made available for those students who have taken admission in hostels. All possible Covid-19 prevention protocols shall be followed in hostels, the letter added.
Notably, classroom teaching for First Year UG and PG students was suspended due to the Covid-19 situation. However, online classes were underway.
