The inaugural flight of ‘Fly Big Airlines’ landed at the Swami Vivekananda Airport here on Wednesday.
The inaugural flight touched down at 2:50 pm and was accorded a water cannon salute by the Airport Authority of India, Director of Raipur Airport Rakesh Sahay said.
The passengers were received by Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of FlyBig Shriniwas Rao and Managing Director Sanjay Mandaviya.
Fly Big plans to operate Indore-Raipur-Indore sector five times a week: on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
The flight will arrive in Raipur at 7:30 am from Indore and depart for Indore at 8 am, Sahay said.
