Govt’s commitment reflects through ‘Aapke Adhikar Aapki Sarkar-Aapke Dwar’ campaign

Thursday, 25 November 2021 | PNS | Ranchi

Aapke Adhikar Aapki Sarkar - Aapke Dwar’ campaign launched by Chief Minister Hemant Soren has started yielding results already. This flagship campaign is intended to cover every possible beneficiary under different government schemes. Under this campaign, every day multiple camps are being organized in different panchayats across the state. People deprived of the benefits of government schemes are now being covered with the benefits at their doorstep.

Divyang Bhekhraj Kumari is glad that the government has come to her doorstep to provide her benefits under various government schemes. Previously, there was a hurdle that was stopping her from accessing these benefits. Since the last 8 years, she was struggling to get her Aadhar card. After the launch of this campaign, she received her Aadhar Card within a day.

Bhekhraj Kumari is a resident of Jharpo village in Tatijharia block of Hazaribagh. Since she did not have an Aadhar card, she was unable to get the benefits of government schemes. She sent her message to the camp organized in Tatijharia and informed officials about the issues faced by her in getting the Aadhar card. Upon listening to her plight, the District Welfare Officer and Block Development Officer came into action. A vehicle was arranged and she was brought to the camp from her residence. Here registration for the Aadhar card was done on-site and the Aadhar card was issued to her.

On getting her Aadhar, she expressed her happiness and said, “now I have my Aadhar card and I will be able to reap benefits of different government schemes. Thanks to Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren, if this camp was not organized it would have been impossible for me to get Aadhar.”

Sajni Bala Mahto, a resident of Palashdih village of Madhavpur Panchayat located in Bodam block of East Singhbhum would earn her livelihood through selling Hadiya (Desi Liquor). She wanted to do goat farming and earn her livelihood.  In a camp organized in Madhavpur Panchayat under Aapke Adhikar Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar, Sajni Bala Mahto was given Rs 10, 000 in the form of an interest-free loan under Phoolo Jhano Ashirwad Abhiyan. She always wanted to get rid of the compulsion to sell Hadiya and the evils associated to this work. With the loan provided to her through JSLPS, she will be able to lead a respectful life while earning livelihood for her family.

Shashi Devi; 79, a resident of Ranchi was struggling to get her Ration Card (PDS card) since the lockdown despite multiple attempts made by her. During the Aapke Adhikar Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar campaign, a Ration Card was issued to her. Such examples reflect the commitment of the government to ensure the benefits of government run schemes to the people of the State. As per the figures of November 23 late afternoon, more than 2.5 lakh applications have been received from all over the state and more than one lakh cases have been successfully resolved.  Aapke Adhikar Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar programme started on State Foundation Day will continue till the completion of two years of the formation of the incumbent government; on 29th December.
