The State level workshop for speedy implementation of Chief Minister Pashudhan Vikas Yojna was organized by Directorate of Gavya Development, Ranchi in the auditorium of Fisheries Farmers Training Centre, on Thursday
As a special guest in the works, Secretary, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperation Department,, Abu Baqr Siddiqui, Special Secretary-cum-Advisor, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperation Department Pradeep Hazari, Director, Gavya and Animal Husbandry Shashi Prakash Jha, , Director, Fisheries HN Dwivedi and Managing Director, Jharkhand Milk Federation (JMF) Sudhir Kumar Singh gave their valuable views.The Chief Minister’s Pashudhan Vikas Yojna was described as a boon for the livestock farmers by the Divisional Secretary, said
Chief Guest of the workshop Minister, Department of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperation, Government of Jharkhand, Badal, directed the animal owners and officials who came to the workshop to achieve the physical goals of Mukhyamantri Pashudhan Vikas Yojna and told that this scheme is for economic uplift of rural population.
“It is very important for employment generation. JMF requested more and more cattle farmers to join the institutional milk collection system in the State so that more and more people can get the benefit of incentive price being given by the State Government. The need to simplify the process of selection of beneficiaries and the process of purchase of cattle for the Chief Minister Pashudhan Vikas Yojna was told by the Minister and the livestock owners were assured to take necessary action in this regard, said Badal.
The Minister presented the State level awards for excellent work in the field of milk production and cow rearing.
“Cash amount of Rs 51 thousand as first prize and citation and memento- Nirmala Devi, Koderma, cash amount of Rs25 thousand as second prize and Rs.11 thousand in cash as citation and memento respectively for Nikita Kumari, Deoghar and third prize and the citation and memento were given to Indradev Mahato, Ranchi.
In addition, the State level consolation prizes were also given to Sita Devi, Hazaribagh, Rajendra Yadav, Latehar and Mevalal Honhaga, Chaibasa for their commendable work in the field of milk production.
