Burglars targeted a grocery shop at Lalita Nagar area on Wednesday and decamped with grocery goods worth Rs 25000 and Rs 1000 cash; Kolar police have started investigation.
According to the police, the victim, Abhisek Meena was informed by his neighbor that door of his shop was broken in the early morning hours and goods and cash were burgled.
A complaint was lodged by the victim with the Kolar police and in his complaint he left shop after closing the night on and his neighbor shopkeeper informed regarding burglary in the shop and on the receipt he rushed to the shop where he found that grocery goods worth Rs 25000 and Rs 1000 cash .The total loss was around Rs 30000. The police have registered a case under sections 461 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
Footages of installed CCTV cameras would be searched during the further investigation to establish the identity of the miscreants.
Police said that investigation to identify and nab the miscreants has been intensified. The local habitual offenders would be quizzed to narrow down on the burglars.
