Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij on Tuesday said that in a survey regarding COVID-19 vaccination, the Central Government has ranked Gurugram first among 24 major urban cities in the country as 49.3 percent of its population has received jabs of vaccination. Sharing the details of category wise administration of doses he said that 60,029 Health Care Workers (HCWs) have received both the doses and 55,408 Front Line Workers (FLWs) have been administered both the doses in Gurugram. On the doses administered to 60 years and 45 to 60 years old beneficiaries, 4,88,009 vaccination doses have been administered to them and for beneficiaries falling in the age group of 18 to 44 years 2,47,708 vaccination doses have been administered, he said. The Health Minister said that in the survey, Indore stood second with 44.9 per cent, Kolkata third with 42.7 percent, Chennai fourth with 39.2 percent and Vadodara city was fifth with 38.7 percent vaccination.
