The Governor of Madhya Pradesh, Mangubhai Patel visited Police Training School, Pachmarhi on Saturday. During the visit, the Governor observed the weapons training activities of the newly trained constables in the training school.
Also took stock of the facilities available in the campus for the accommodation, food arrangements, various types of trainings for the new constables. He also inquired about the British period buildings located in the Police Training School Complex and the expansion of the Training School Complex.
On this occasion, the Inspector General of Police, Hoshangabad Zone, . Deepika Suri and the Superintendent of Police, Police Training School, . Nimisha Pandey gave detailed information to the Governor about the year-long training program of the new constables. Nimisha Pandey informed that Police Training School Pachmari was shifted from Jabalpur to Pachmarhi in the year 1960, in which 126 new constables of 72nd batch are currently undergoing training.
Information related to the staff involved in the training work and their accommodation and welfare was also given. On this occasion, the Governor paid homage to the martyrs by paying floral tributes at the Martyrs Memorial located in the premises. Also tree plantation was done in the campus. The Governor congratulated the new constables in advance for successfully training them.
