Haryana CM inaugurates Integrated Command, Respond Control Centre for managing pandemic

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar inaugurated the Integrated Command and Respond Control Centre (ICRCC) for managing the Covid-19 pandemic situation on Monday at the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) office.

According to GMDA officials, the ICRCC will proactively reach out to all the patients who tested positive through various means. Covid-19 patients can reach the District Administration through the helpline (1950, the specially created WhatApp Chatbot (+919643277788) and the State Government web portals.

During his visit the CM also reviewed the capabilities of the ICRCC and asked the officials to ensure the shortest possible reaction time to reach out to all Covid-19 patients and attend to all their requirements. He also reviewed the current Covid-19 cases in the district and directed officials to integrate their efforts to ensure comprehensive care of those afflicted by the pandemic.

The CM also inaugurated two new medical facilities created to add more beds for Covid patients in Haryana from GMDA office through video conferencing. These two facalities were Metro Hospital a 100-bed  facility in Faridabad and a 50-bed Covid Care Centre at Bhora Kalan, Pataudi area in Gurugram.

Officials said that services such as making hospital beds available for serious cases, online doctor consultations, oxygen refilling, ambulance, funeral arrangements and food will be provided for through a network of partners working with the administration. These will be coordinated by the ICRCC working with all the agencies involved in relief operations.

The ICRCC will also consolidate and provide all relevant data for real-time analysis and trend prediction of the COVID19 spread and take policy decisions in advance. The ICRCC will be housed within the GMDA. The GIS team of GMDA has built the integrated dashboard that powers the ICRCC to operationalize the full range of services to the patients.

The ICRCC is manned by an integrated team draw from the staff of Deputy Commissioner, Gurugram, GMDA, the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram and citizen volunteers.  In the coming days the ICRCC will also provide services in guiding patients to available beds, vaccination centres and enhance testing and tracking of COVID19 infections to break the chain.

Several private sector volunteers groups of citizen have supported the Government of Haryana to create the ICRCC to enable relief operations for COVID19 patients in Gurugram.

As to minimize the effect of financial crisis on Haryana citizens/Private hospitals due to COVID-19 pandemic, Haryana Government has issued an incentive scheme which is integrated in GMDA portal.

To avail the benefits, each hospital must update the beds, patients (admission and discharge) and other information in the portal (https://gmdahrheal.in) on daily basis.

Under this scheme private hospital will get an incentive of Rs.1000/day for the number of days from admission to discharge but limited to a maximum of 7 days only and those who falls under BPL category will get Rs.5000/day for the number of days from admission to discharge but limited to a maximum of 7 days.

The portal categories the patients in terms of Haryana resident (BPL and Non BPL) and outside haryana resident. The process of getting the incentive is automated in the portal, hospitals are pre informed about the eligible amount they can claim.

To increase the speed in getting the report result daily SMS are being sent. The patients can even access their report on online on GMDA portal (https://gmdahrheal.in/checkreport), at present availability of beds can be viewed on (https://coronaharyana.in) GMDA portal, this portal shows availability for the state of Haryana.
