Haryana CM to attend Kisan Maha Panchayat as chief guest today

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar will give developmental works worth Rs  4717 lakh while attending the Kisan Maha Panchayat as Chief Guest on Sunday at village Kaimla in Karnal district. He will inaugurate and lay foundation stones of various developmental works here. On this occasion, the Chief Minister will also interact with the people about Agricultural Laws.

An official spokesperson said that the Chief Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones of development works worth Rs 2259.45 lakh of Gharaunda assembly constituency in Karnal district, 336.80 lakh of Municipal Corporation Karnal. The foundation stone for the developmental works to be built at a cost of Rs 2121 lakh for 5 projects is included under the Smart City Project.

The spokesperson said that all necessary preparations have been completed by the administration and adequate security arrangements have been made.

Khattar will inaugurate three developmental works to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 2259.45 lakh in Gharaunda. He said that the people of Gharaunda had demanded for the construction of the bus stand a long time back to fulfill which the Chief Minister not only gave his consent but also sanctioned an amount of Rs. 216.53 lakh. Similarly, construction of PHC building and residential houses for officers and employees in village Barasat was announced by the Chief Minister, on which an estimated amount of Rs 521.96 lakh has been spent, this work has also been completed. Likewise, the demand of building RUB in Gharaunda city has also been fulfilled by the Chief Minister for which an amount of Rs 1132.94 lakh has been spent. Apart from this, he will lay the foundation stone for the construction of PHC buildings and residential houses to be built at a cost of about Rs 388 lakh in village Mirghan.

The Chief Minister will lay the foundation stone of six projects of Municipal Corporation, Karnal, on which an estimated amount of Rs 336.86 lakh will be spent. Among these, the Central Verge will be constructed on the road of Moti Nagar, Ward Number 7at a cost of Rs 51.17 lakh, Community Centre in village Sirsi at a cost of Rs 62.24 lakh, Guru Nanak Dwar on Kaithal Road at a cost of Rs 47.16 lakh, construction work of Swami Vivekananda Dwar on Kaachwa Road at a cost of Rs. 48.91 lakh, Maa Saraswati Dwar on Kunjpura Road at a cost of Rs 49.32 lakh, and Day Care Centre Hall at Bal Bhawan in Ward Number 11at a cost of Rs 80 lakh are included.

Khattar will also lay the foundation stone for 5 projects worth Rs. 2121 lakh under the Smart City Project. These include an open air gym and work on meditation area in 74 parks at a cost of Rs 603 lakh, a cultural corridor at a cost of Rs 250 lakh, a footpath equipped with tiles at a cost of Rs 570 lakh under the Smart City Mission, a concrete overlay constructed on roads at a cost of Rs 395 lakh and Rs 303 lakh will be spent on beautification of the bridges.
